Ms. Becky McDonald, Principal, Process Safety/Risk Engineer, holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. McDonald brings over 35 years of experience in consulting, offering expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM), Mechanical Integrity (MI), Overpressure Protection, PHA Facilitation, Project Management, and more. Her extensive knowledge spans industries like natural gas, oil/gas production, pipeline transportation, refining, chemical processing, and pulp & paper. She currently assists clients with PSM program development, implementation, and auditing (including MI/RAGAGEP) to satisfy OSHA’s PSM standard and EPA’s RMP rule as well as PHA facilitation and overpressure protection project management. She is knowledgeable of process safety management, overpressure protection, and mechanical integrity standards and has helped develop successful PSM and MI programs for clients. She has been an instructor for API’s pressure relief course and co-chairman of the API 576 committee, and she is a current member of API’s 520, 521, 526, 527, 571, 580, 581, and 2000 committees. Ms. McDonald is an instructor for PSRG’s Mechanical Integrity and RAGAGEPS for Process Safety Management, Auditing for Process Safety Management, PHA Team Leader Training, Dust Hazard Analysis, and Overpressure Relief and Flare Analysis training courses. She is active in CCPS, MKSOP, and TCC.
